A heartfelt, unique handmade gift for the special women in your wedding! Silversmiths in Surin, northeastern Thailand use simple tools to create distinctive beads from pure silver. Decorative patterns are hand-etched onto the surface of silver beads. This painstaking process, from the centuries-old Khmer Angkor kingdom, survives in only one small community. The necklace has two strands of deep red garnets alternating with sets of 3 tiny silver beads. This stunning set is adorned with etched Surin beads accenting the claw clasp closure. Earrings also have two strands of deep red, slightly-graduated garnets alternating with sets of 3 tiny silver beads accented with etched Surin beads make up these stunning earrings. Silver is .925 grade and the necklace is 16 inches long. The earrings hang 2 inches from the Sterling silver earring findings.
